Press Release Summary: Muscatine, IA, faces a unique and interesting election this
year - pitting 80 year old and multi term incumbent against a 19 year old fresh
faced challenger.

Press Release Body: MUSCATINE, IA. In a city where the incumbent recently turned 80,
challenger Ryan Kopf, 19, is enjoying the difference.

This election will be the most interesting one every held in the city of Muscatine.
Kopf runs on a platform of drug prevention, new technology to save money, more
public safety officers, and more youth activities. O\'brien, the twelve year
incumbent, runs on a campaign of "past experience" and improving communication with
residents.

Kopf, a lifelong resident, graduated Muscatine High School in 2006, and went on to
study at the local community college right afterwards, starting off around Sophomore
level due to Advanced Placement courses.

In O\'brien\'s only issue area, making the government easy to communicate with, the
challenger seems to have him beat. O\'brien does not have a website, while the
challenger does, along with a direct phone number (1-224-333-1228) to reach the Kopf
campaign.

"I have studied technology for a while now," Kopf said. "If I can use technology to
save money, then I can also use it to make our government easier to communicate
with."

Rarely have the citizens of Muscatine actually had much to talk about. There had
never been much real competition for the Mayoral position in Muscatine, and many
residents want new ideas. One citizen wrote to the Muscatine Journal, "Young/new
ideas are a good thing. This community needs new fresh minds such as yours,"
concerning the Kopf campaign.

Kopf tackles many issues head on with his campaign - his website
(http://www.ryankopf.com) lists Youth Activities, New Technology, Drug Prevention,
Better Spending, Public Safety, Communication, and Infrastructure all under the
important issues section. Not only does it list issues, but Kopf\'s website is rather
functional as well. It has at least one video, and the entire layout of the website
is easy on the eyes, and easy to navigate.

"I want to give people the chance to learn about my campaign anytime," Kopf said.
